Everybodyโs gotta have a gimmick.ย If Romney won that debate โ and Iโm just saying if โ was there a special technique he used?
Did you ever hear of the Gish Gallop?
Apparently, it has 2 requirements:
1ย what he says is designed to appeal to, and deceive, precisely those people who most need straight information.
2ย the technique is to overwhelm oneโs opponent with sheer volume of material, not necessarily true, acting as if itโs fact.
Romney appeared to contradict his own major policy ideas from the past months, leaving Obama unable to debate substance.ย It might include a bit of facts, and then it takes so long to reply to that itโs pretty impossible to cover the subterfuge Romney threw.ย A known debate technique.ย Daily Kos story here.
