If a pictureโs worth a thousand words, how much for the video?ย Mitt Romneyโs been caught on video showing what he really believes.ย Itโs not pretty.
47% of Americans can go to hell, according to Mitt.ย He said his campaign is just plain writing off โ47% of the peopleโ, adding those โare people who pay no income taxโ, then explains โso our message of low taxes doesnโt connect.โ
Maybe worse, he called almost half of Americans โdependent upon governmentโ, saying those voters are likely to support President Obama because they believe theyโre โentitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.โ
Romney was speaking to donors who paid to be at a private reception when he said these things.ย This, then, is his appeal to people he wants support from?ย Is Romney promising supporters in code that heโll ignore half the country?ย Consider how likely heโd be to care about education, job training, food stamps.ย Romney was speaking to people whoโd given $50,000 to be there, at an event in the private home of a financier in Boca Raton, Florida.
Does he actually say these things?ย Watch the video and see for yourself.ย For a couple of additional videos, and the original story published by Mother Jones Magazine, click here:ย http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/09/secret-video-romney-private-fundraiser
Can you imagine what would happen if Romney said these things in public?ย But that would be telling.
