Mitt Romney, where would you be in a big storm?
Still calling for FEMA to be torn in pieces with bits given to each of the 50 states?
Romney believes states should handle emergencies like the current big storm.ย Worse,
โThe Ryan budget, which Mr. Romney praised as โan excellent piece of work,โ would result in severe cutbacks to the agency, as would the Republican-instigated sequester, which would cut disaster relief by 8.2 percent on top of earlier reductionsโ
Right now โ can you imagine each of the states affected by the big storm today trying to determine whatโs best? How would that work, exactly?
Bad idea. NY Times editorial here.

Preposterous!
I wonder if Mitt Romney ever considers who built the major roads his campaign travels on? Does he really think local municipalities could build and maintain the infrastructure he himself uses?
Oh! I forgot! Heโs not one of the 47% he wonโt deign to care about โ heโs never benefited from the Federal Government.
