America, please listen!

Americans!  This means You!

This election is important.  The person you vote for will decide things that actually affect how much money you have to spend and whether your family and children will be cared for by doctors if they get very sick. 

If you think the election won't affect you, that politicians are all the same, please LISTEN: the air you breathe is likely to be different depending on which candidate wins.  Your chances of keeping your home, or buying one, will be different depending on who wins.  Your personal safety in years to come may depend on who's elected this time.

How can half of you say you will vote for John McCain?

How can you vote for someone who is lying to the American people - already, now?  The winner will have access to all the power of the Presidency - the power to affect the news, the power to harness the FBI, the power to appoint judges who may decide you, or your wives and daughters, may have to go back to dark alleys should they become pregnant and decide to not give birth to a child.

How can you vote for a President who lies already?  How can you vote for a President with a higher risk of dying in office due to age, with a candidate for Vice-President who also has been proven to be lying?

Can you take 4 more years - or 8 more years - of being lied to?  There's more than snow being shoveled here.  McCain and his campaign are deep in it. 

It's up to you, not the rest of the world, to decide this election.  Do you want another President who lies?

Sarah Palin has been caught telling lies, already, in her acceptance speech, in her ABC-TV interview, in the speeches she has continued to make.  It is a fact that she has lied about programs she said she created, money she said she didn't support and ask for ("earmarks"), and projects she did do, and says she didn't (Bridge to Nowhere) or experience she says she has and doesn't (she thinks she knows about foreign policy because Russia is geographically near her State).

Palin has vindictively fired good people working for the State she was elected to serve, for personal reasons.  She has packed the State payroll with friends and cronies.  She has demanded loyalty to such a degree that she has decreed that Alaska State employees must not talk about what she doesn't want them to talk about.

Can you imagine what the U.S. would be like under a President and Vice-President who lie their way into the White House?  Can you forget the President who lied to the American people about weapons of mass destruction?

This week, the seventh anniversary of 9/11, Palin stated publicly that the people who caused us harm and killed thousands were linked with Iraq.  This is a lie, and has been proven completely untrue.  Do you want to vote for a woman who could become President in a heartbeat - who lies to us like George Bush did?

Palin fought with the librarian to remove books from the library.  Because Palin didn't like some books, do you want every person to lose the chance to read them at the library?  Do you want a Vice-President, and possibly the next President, to tell you what you can read down at the library?

Do you want to see your own right to free speech be closed off?

Palin, and McCain, want you to be afraid.  They think if you are afraid, you will vote for them.

You should be afraid - to vote for either of them.
