How about on Obama's first day of office: Start shutting down the war machine, and carefully extract the military in such a way that the bloodshed is minimized, and the people of Iraq take control of their own free country. I know from where I speak, having spent the last 10 months with the Iraqi people in Anbar Province, and then 2 months here in Afghanistan. 75% of the IRaqi people LOVE BUSH (I found it very hard to believe, too!) and thank any American they see for removing Saddam from his tyranical control of their lives. It's the other 25% that continues to blow themselves up and make news in order to remove "the oppressors". Obama will sit with his military minds and fashion a program to get out without a vietnam-like deadly withdrawal. Don't get mad at him if he takes a year to get the majority of the military out!!! DO it RIGHT. Save the lives of the many peaceful, good Iraqi people. Don't throw them to the Wolves. Steve in AFG
