277 Delegates To Win The Nomination!
Barack Obama only needs 277 delegates to become the Democratic nominee for President.
Three delegates were added to Obama's delegate count today: Superdelegate Brian Colon, Chair of New Mexico's Democratic Party, and two delegates who were added-on from other contests.
This changes the count of delegates to:
Total Delegates Obama 1747 Clinton 1608
Contests Obama 30 Clinton 15 (Guam pending)
Pledged delegates Obama needs for a majority 134
Total delegates Obama needs for the nomination 277
